This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit fashiontight.co.uk (the "Site") or buy from us.

1. Who we are
Fashion Tight (fashiontight.co.uk) is a trading name of Nominal-plan Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10561367 (VAT no. GB262290611), registered address 41 Merrick House, Whale Avenue, Reading RG2 0GX, United Kingdom. Nominal-plan Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. 2. The personal data we collect
Order and account data: your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, order history and any messages you send us. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
Marketing data: your email address or phone number if you sign up for our newsletter, SMS messages or loyalty programme, together with your marketing preferences.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring website and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
Reviews: if you leave a product review, your name and the content of your review.

3. How we use your data and our lawful basis
To process and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds and provide customer service (performance of a contract).
To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure (legitimate interests).
To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
To send you marketing emails or SMS messages (your consent, or for existing customers our legitimate interests under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every message).
To measure and improve the Site and our advertising using analytics and advertising cookies (your consent, which you give or refuse through our cookie banner).

4. Who we share your data with
We only share your data with service providers who help us run our business and who are required to protect it, including: Shopify (our e-commerce platform); payment providers such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, Clearpay, Apple Pay and Google Pay; delivery companies such as Royal Mail and Evri; Klaviyo (email, SMS and reviews); Smile.io (loyalty programme); Google (analytics and advertising) and Meta (advertising), where you have consented to these cookies. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the Site and checkout work. With your consent, we also use analytics, marketing and preference cookies. When you first visit the Site you can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing the cookies for fashiontight.co.uk in your browser (the cookie banner will then appear again on your next visit) or through your browser settings.

6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example Shopify, Google, Meta and Klaviyo) process data outside the UK, including in Canada, Ireland and the United States. Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data
We keep order and transaction records for six years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, as required for UK tax and accounting purposes. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept for no longer than 26 months.

8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to our processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fashiontight.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have equivalent rights under the EU GDPR.

9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority: ico.org.uk, telephone 0303 123 1113.

10. Children
The Site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
