Penti Style Fashion Tights are silky-smooth 15 denier black tights with an all-over polka dot pattern, knitted in soft microfibre with a comfortable waistband, cotton gusset and a shaping panty for a smooth silhouette. The dots add a playful touch to a classic sheer black tight: easy to wear for the office, a wedding or a night out.
Why microfibre matters in sheer tights
Standard 15 denier tights are knitted from a single fine yarn, which is why they feel slightly rough and ladder easily. Microfibre splits that yarn into many finer filaments, so the knit is softer against the skin, has a more even matt-satin finish and stretches without weak points. The result is a 15 denier tight that looks sheer but wears like something heavier. A control top and shaping panty hold everything in place at the waist, and the sandal toe means no reinforced toe showing in peep-toe shoes.

Are 15 denier tights sheer?
Yes. 15 denier is the standard sheer weight: the leg shows through with a light black tint, so the polka dots stand out clearly against the skin.
Do microfibre tights ladder?
Less than ordinary sheers of the same denier, because the multi-filament yarn has no single weak strand to snag. They are still 15 denier, so put them on with care — gather each leg to the toe before pulling up, and keep nails and jewellery clear.
Which size should I choose?
Penti sizes 1 to 4 follow height and weight, not dress size — match yours on our size guide. If you are between two, go up: sheer tights that are too small ladder faster and pull the waistband down.
