What 100 denier gives you

Denier measures the thickness of the yarn: 15 is sheer, 40 to 60 is semi-opaque, and from around 80 upwards the leg is fully covered. At 100 denier these are properly opaque with a warm, dense knit, but the microfibre yarn keeps them smooth and glossy rather than heavy and matt. The 3D fit means the tights are knitted to the shape of the leg, so they do not bag at the knee or ankle after a few hours, and flat seams plus a comfort plus waistband keep them invisible under fitted clothes.
