Why footless

A footed tight has to go inside a shoe; a footless one does not, which changes what you can wear it with. Under a midi skirt with trainers the ankle finish looks deliberate rather than like a tight worn with the wrong shoe, and in boots there is no seam or reinforced toe to feel. Because there is no foot, the pair also lasts longer — toes and heels are where opaque tights wear through first. The knit itself is the everyday 80 denier: fully opaque, matt, with a soft waistband that keeps its elasticity wash after wash.
