Penti Micro 200 Denier Footless Tights are the pair you will not want to take off: a sturdy 200 denier opaque knit, finished at the ankle with no foot, so they go with trainers, boots and loafers and keep legs warm through the coldest days. Flat seams and an extra-wide comfort waistband make them comfortable for a full day at work or out walking.
Why footless
At 200 denier the knit is thick enough to feel like a fine legging, but it is still hosiery — smooth, matt and cut to sit under a skirt or dress. Leaving off the foot means nothing bunches inside a boot or trainer, there is no toe seam to feel, and the pair outlasts a footed tight because heels and toes are where thick opaques wear through. The extra-wide comfort plus waistband spreads the hold, a cotton gusset keeps them breathable and the reinforced panty adds durability at the seat.

Are footless tights the same as leggings?
No. Footless tights are a hosiery knit — finer, smoother and more stretchy than the jersey fabric of leggings — so they look like tights under a skirt or dress. Leggings are a heavier garment worn as trousers.
Are 200 denier footless tights warm?
Yes — 200 denier is the heaviest plain opaque Penti makes, roughly twice the weight of an 80 denier. Worn with boots they are a winter pair; for extra insulation see the fleece-lined Penti Thermal Tights.
Which size should I choose?
S-M and M-L follow height and weight — match yours on our size guide. If you are between two, go up.
